Master the Solfege (Level 7)

The first step in becoming an excellent singer is to learning the musical notes well . When we master the notes and are able to go from one note to another on the right pitch at the right speed , we have already laid a good foundation for our singing . This is level 1 of the Master the Solfege courses at Soul of Music. Solfege Patterns are note patterns which we sequence and sing starting at different start points (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La or Ti) . In level 1 of the course, we give you 10 simple patterns . You can see them visually and also hear them being sung by a teacher at 3 different speeds . You are to practice each alankar with a tanpura sound playing in the background at your comfortable pitch . Once you have finished the course , you are required to optionally submit a recording of these 10 recordings to us, which will be graded by a teacher . You will get quality feedback after which you can move on to level 2 . All the best !
