Grade 11 Music Course (Term 2) – Master Expression, Rap & Songwriting

At Grade 11 Music Course (Term 2), students learn how to use social media judiciously to garner listeners for their music. They learn songs Hallelujah, Count on ME and See You Again. Through Hallelujah, they understand the chord progressions well and learn how to sing stylistically. Devotion in voices through expressions is brought out here.

Count on Me is a song about friendship that lasts forever, beyond all odds. See you Again is an interesting love song where students try their hand at RAP too. They listen to Indian music from various genres. They develop their riffing and agility skills vocally. They create their alankars and then convert them into a melody. They add lyrics to this melody, which they notate, too.
