Carnatic Vocals: Master Ragas, Swaras & Rhythm with Precision!

A dynamic Carnatic Music course for all ages, beginners to intermediate, which simultaneously embraces both tradition and modernity—teaching standard Carnatic repertoire and also imparting good vocal culture with modern vocal techniques, all the while maintaining the integrity of the rich Carnatic system. This course aims at teaching the student to understand and recognize pitch, sing accurately with Swaras, internalize and befriend Ragas, master traditional Geethams, Varnams and Keerthanams/Kritis (compositions) while also mastering accurate Swara Recognition using Ear Training, having a thorough grasp on Rhythm/Laya by learning Konnakol (the art of Indian Vocal Percussion), and much more. Throughout the course, students will refine their Carnatic Vocals with precision, developing a deep connection to the art form.
