About Course
Grade 1 Music Course (Term 3) – Expanding Musical Horizons with Global Sounds
In the Grade 1 Music Course (Term 3), the concept of rest is reinforced through fun warmup activities that are reading-based. The Spanish Language is introduced at this level through an interesting warmup. Alankars and Solfege patterns that include skipping of notes are taught so the concept of singing intervals can be understood in due course by students.

A Kannada song is taught to the students, exposing them to the native language of India. There is a good progression of sight singing in C major. The time signature 3/4 is introduced and taught thoroughly at this level. Students doodle to music, encouraging their artistic expression of music.
