Hindustani Vocals Beginner (Level 3)

Hindustani Vocal Beginner – Level 3 | Master Swar Vistar & Taan in Raag Yaman 

The Hindustani Level 3 course is for students who have successfully completed upto Levels 2 of the same or can exhibit the qualities of being able to sing any note in an octave ( of the Chromatic scale) on being asked to do so . They should have a clear idea of Teentaal, Roopak taal and Bhajan taals .

In Level 3, The focus would be on creation of Swar Vistar with taal in Yaman, Swar vistar in Bhimpalas , and swar Vistar in  Bhoop . The student would start learning taan creation in Yaman on Teen taal . There would be intense listening exercises in Ragas Yamn, Bhimpalas and Bhoop and the student would thus become an expert in identifying and presenting these ragas. The student would be adept at presenting fast taans in Raag Yaman.
