Music for Children – A Progressive Journey in Indian & Western Music
At Music for Children Level 1, students get a very good idea about the instrument Keyboard. They learn the names of the keys, learn how to identify any key and also to play a simple melody on the keyboard with chords. They learn the fantastic Cup Game challenge that tests their hand coordination while singing. 3 classics – 2 from English and one from Bengali language are taught, through which students explore diction and expression of their feelings. G major scale is introduced for sight singing. Alankar and solfege patterns are taught in progression.
