Music for Children (Level 11) – 12 Weeks

About Course
Music for Children – A Progressive Journey in Indian & Western Music
At Music for Children Level 11, students are introduced to the new key of A major in this course. They learn the various dynamics and their markings in music – pianissimo, piano, mezzo piano, mezzo forte, forte and fortissimo. They apply these dynamics in the songs they learn in the course.
The challenging Hindi Song Breathless (in the Raag Yaman which they have already learned about) is taught here. Breath capacity is developed to a full capacity if this song is to be rendered seamlessly. The Disney song When Will My Life Begin from Tangled transports them into the land of Rapunzel and Eugene, and they get their exposure to the world-famous band Carpenters through the song Rainy Days and Mondays (which also helps them connect with their blue moods). Vocal range develops in this course.
