Music for Children (Level 2) – 12 Weeks

About Course
Music for Children – A Progressive Journey in Indian & Western Music
At Music for Children Level 2, students are exposed to how to sing using a microphone. They learn how to hold it correctly and how to project voice using the microphone. They are taught how to hold the guitar, what the strings of a guitar are named, how the thickness varies with pitch etc. This year makes them equipped to use the guitar while singing a song in the pitch C.
Staccato and legato articulations are introduced here. They learn 3 English songs that they connect with – one a classic pop number, one a more recent song about self-empowerment, and another that takes them to Disney Wonderland. How to sing beyond an octave is taught in the Alankar section. Sight singing in G Major is further taught.
