Music for Children – A Progressive Journey in Indian & Western Music

 

At Music for Children Level 4, students learn in detail different types of articulation in music. They learn legato, staccato, marcato , tenuto and accent and how these are notated in sheet music . They learn different cultures through different songs, continue their learning of the pitch raised 4, and start with sight singing in Bb Major. The vocals exercise here slowly build up their vocal stamina and increase their vocal range. They learn more Spanish words and the spirit of sport through the song Waka Waka. Their patriotism is fired by learning the Indian National Song Vande Mataram. They learn to Let Go through the Disney song Let It Go.
