Music for Children (Level 7) – 12 Weeks
About Course
Music for Children – A Progressive Journey in Indian & Western Music
At Music for Children Level 7, students learn the belting vocal technique. Two songs from 2 cultures are taught here – Uthrada Poonilave from Kerala and Rangeelo Mharo Dholna from Maharashtra. They learn to believe in their strengths and themselves through the song Believer. Komal (Small) Re and Dha notes are reinforced further through Alankars and solfege pattern exercises. D major scale sight singing is introduced and taught. Vocal endurance is built through vocal exercises. The concept of harmony is understood in more depth as some lines of the song are to be sung in harmony by groups.
