Music for Children (Level 8) – 12 Weeks

About Course
Music for Children – A Progressive Journey in Indian & Western Music
At Music for Children Level 8, students learn how to use their Mixed voice in vocal technique through the song Never Enough which challenges their vocal range capacities. They also understand how a vowel sound can be modified to sing a high pitch more easily. They focus on the musical element melody in the song Never Enough.
They experience a sharp contrast and variety through the peppy song Spiderman by Ramones, where the focus is much more on the short phrases, rhythmic grooves, and fast beats. They affirm to themselves to “shake off” all negativity and negative people through the song ” Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift which they enjoy singing and dancing to. They learn how to sing intervals in the scale with the new notes flat 2 and 6. The new key signature of the key Eb Major is introduced here and students learn how to read this key.
