UKG Music Course (Term 2) – Learning Music Through Play!
UKG Music Course (Term 2) can be taken up by kids in the age bracket 4-6 years if they have been exposed to the concepts in previous courses. In UKG Music Course (Term 2), kids are exposed to time signature 3/4. They move to a dancing beat like Waltz in class during an activity to feel the first strong beat in a group of 3 beats. Japanese Language is introduced to the children through a warmup. Warmups based on alankars are taught to understand alankars and composing better.
The concept of changing dynamics according to the situation is learnt through activities. In Diction, pronunciation of the sound of W is highlighted for the children. Kids further reinforce their understanding of rhythm notations by watching our animated videos teaching rhythm. Kids are encouraged to sing with an open voice, setting the stage for good vocal technique to follow. Through a song about Kerala, a context is set to understand the culture of one of the Indian States.
