Grade 10 Music Course (Term 3) – Explore Global Composers & Varied Singing Styles

At Grade 10 Music Course (Term 3), students learn about 5 famous music composers from around the world (Mozart, Beethoven, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Ed Sheeran, Sia). They learn about the backgrounds of these composers and the nature of the music they composed. This will give them a lot of insight into how they can compose music themselves. The songs learnt in this level are Adele’s Laughing Song (Western Opera Style), All About That Bass (low pitched song about self-worth) and Love like That (Asian Pop). They thus learn 3 varied forms of singing. This level covers 100 alankars overall in the music curriculum.
