Music for Kids: A Joyful Introduction to Melody

Music for Kids Level 3 can be taken by a student in the age bracket 3-6 years, provided they have covered the topics in Music for Kids Level 2. In this level, students start the first lesson on dynamics – loud and soft- through a song. They strengthen their understanding of high, medium, and low pitches through a game. They understand the concept of octave and start learning about a high Re above High Sa and Low Ni below the Lower Sa.

They are exposed to more instrument sounds. Movement based on the music starts here as they navigate different lines of a song through movements. They believe strongly in Magic and magic wands through a magical song. All three songs in this term are in English, with a fun warm-up in French. They understand tempo (fast and slow) through an interesting song and activity.
